This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and rescheduling work for the consulting packages offered through this Website. We aim to make the process fair and transparent for both sides. Specific commercial terms may be adjusted in the written agreement signed with each client; in case of conflict, the signed agreement prevails.

1. Nature of our services

We provide professional advisory work that requires significant preparation, time and analytical effort from our team. Because of this, refund eligibility depends on how much work has been performed at the moment a cancellation request is received.

2. Deposits and bookings

To reserve calendar time for a new engagement, we usually request an upfront deposit. Deposits cover scheduling, scoping and the initial preparation work that takes place before the first formal session. Deposits are non-refundable once preparation has started but can be transferred to a rescheduled engagement under the conditions below.

3. Cancellation by the client

You may cancel an engagement at any time by sending a written notice through our Contacts page or by reply email. The following principles will then apply:

  • If cancellation is requested before any preparation or interviews have started, the deposit may be refunded in full, minus any unavoidable third-party costs already incurred.
  • If cancellation is requested after preparation has started but before fieldwork begins, fifty percent of the deposit may be refunded.
  • If cancellation is requested after fieldwork or workshops have started, fees corresponding to completed work are non-refundable; unused balances may be refunded or credited towards a future engagement.

4. Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule sessions or workshops, please let us know at least five business days in advance. We will do our best to find a new mutually convenient time at no extra cost. Repeated last-minute rescheduling may lead to additional fees to cover lost preparation time.

5. Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an engagement, for example due to staffing constraints or factors outside our reasonable control, we will provide as much notice as possible and refund any amounts paid for services that have not yet been delivered.

6. Quality concerns

If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, please inform us within ten business days of receiving it. We will review your feedback and, where appropriate, revise the deliverable at no extra cost. Where revisions are not feasible, a partial refund or credit may be agreed at our discretion.

7. Refund process

Approved refunds are issued using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Depending on the payment provider, refunds may take up to ten business days to appear on your statement.

8. Non-refundable items

Some elements are not eligible for refund, including third-party licensing or platform fees we have paid on your behalf, customized reports already delivered and approved, and time spent on completed working sessions.

9. Updates to this policy

We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when the most recent change took effect. The version in force on the date your engagement starts will apply to that engagement, unless your written contract specifies otherwise.
